RAM Social/1st meeting
The Richmond Association of Montessori (RAM) will be hosting this
social for Montessori parents and children to meet and learn about
RAM and Montessori education. Students will demonstrate materials
and light refreshments will be served.
Stay with us and learn about our plans for 2013-2014 at the first RAM
meeting of the year at 7:00 p.m.

RAM Needs Your Feedback!
Did you see the survey that came home with the AGM information? RAM is looking for your feedback to help us plan activities and events that benefit all Montessori children.
To those that have already returned the survey, thank you. Although we had hoped to receive the feedback by June 12th, if you have not yet returned the survey, it’s not too late! Please complete and return the surveys to your school as soon as possible. The more feedback we get, the better we will be able to plan.

Invitation to the Annual General Meeting
All Montessori parents are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) this Thursday from 7 – 8 pm at Garden City Elementary School. Please join us to support our children’s education.
We need you! We know that there are a number of Executive positions that will be vacant for next year, including a Treasurer, Vice-Chairperson and other positions. Without a full Executive, RAM can not function.
As parents we are all busy, but we all want the best for our children. Without your help, our children’s Montessori program will suffer.

Montessori Kindergarten Information Night
Montessori Kindergarten Information Night is scheduled for
January 17 at Garden City Elementary 8311 Garden City Road, Richmond, BC.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with an opportunity to see students demonstrating Montessori materials, and to talk to RAM and school representatives. Presentations start at 7 p.m. and will cover information about the program, how to apply and about RAM.

Montessori Madness Video
In the book “Montessori Madness”, author Trevor Eissler – a Montessori parent – explains the benefits of a Montessori education from a parent’s perspective. The book has been described as an accessible introduction to Montessori.
Trevor created a video that quickly describes Montessori schooling:
